Pelin Batur MD, FACP, NCMP did both her internal medicine residency and women's health subspecialty fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic, where she has been practicing since 1998. Her areas of expertise include medically complex contraception, menopausal care, menstrual migraine, osteoporosis and sexual concerns. After 15 years of balancing a primary care and consultative women’s health practice, she has transitioned to a purely women's health consultative practice. She has helped set up several programs within the Ob-Gyn department for the care of women with medically complex situations, such as after cancer treatment, organ transplant, or in those who carry genetic conditions which increase their cancer risk. She has partnered with the Cancer Institute to develop a comprehensive Female Sexual Health program, with a special focus on sexual health after cancer.
